Ki no Tsuno (紀角)

KI no Tsuno (year of birth and death unknown) was a person of local ruling family in the middle of Tumulus period. His surname was Sukune (third highest of the eight hereditary titles). He was the fifth son of TAKEUCHI no Sukune and Yashiro HADA, Ogara KYOSEI, SOGAISHIKAWA no Sukune, Kiu HEGURI were his elder brothers and KATSURAGI no Sotsuhiko, amongst others were his younger brothers.

The Ki clan lost its family tree that showed the Tsuno origin thus it commonly used the family tree of his elder brother Kiu HEGURI.

According to Nihon Shoki (Chronicles of Japan), the third year of Ojin Emperor (272 or 392 according to Samguk Sagi (History of the Three Kingdoms) he was sent to Kudara along with his elder brothers to condemn Jinsa-wang (the 16th King of Baekje) who became insolent toward the Emperor. He returned home after placing Asin-wang a nephew of Jinsa-wang to replace him after he was assassinated by one of his vassals as a result.
